How to start taking care of yourself today

Hi there! My name is April and I am here to inspire you to take better care of yourself.




If you are human and are struggling with taking care of yourself, please know that you are not alone.

We live in a busy world full of information and it is easy to feel overwhelmed and anxious.


My goal with this blog and my coaching services is to guide you through ways to care for yourself from a holistic perspective of mind, body, and soul.


I have my own story of self-healing and I will share that in a bit of time, but for now, all I want you to know is that I have your back.


I have researched and experimented with various forms of self-care to help with my own generalized anxiety disorder, self-sabotaging beliefs, and people-pleasing habits.


Currently, I am about a month and a half away from graduating with my Integrative Nutrition Health Coaching Certification so that I can better support you while you learn to heal & love yourself. (This means I have tons of info for EVERYONE)



I am here to provide you straight forward information so you do not have to waste time searching for it on your own.


I will be your coach who reflects all that you truly are, and my mission is to patiently & lovingly guide you to see that for yourself.


Here are 3 tips to help you get started today:


  1. Make a list & ask yourself: How do my thoughts and beliefs affect the health of my body & overall well-being?

  2. Pick one thought/belief from that list that you want to work on letting go of.

  3. From a loving/compassionate lens, dissect the thought, for example: How does it make me feel? Where did it come from? Is it mine to carry? Is it necessary to carry this thought any longer?
